Advice re: how to plan Shoretrooper armour build?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

So I got my Shoretrooper armour from Jimiroquai on RPF. Could I please get some advice on how you've planned and carried out the build? I saw a bit of advice that starting with the shoulder and bicep armour, then progress to the parts that need to be fitted.

Any advice will be sincerely appreciated. Thanks!

I believe Jim's comes all cut and shaped and ready to glue as it's fibreglass ?

As you have no cutting , lay it all out

Start with biceps , forarms and shins , whilst they are glued , look at your back and chest and see what needs done

There are a few WIPs on here so have a look as that will help. Biggest thing is take your time

The first thing that needs to be done with any Jimmi kit is to sand the insides of the entire kit down really well with some heavy grit sandpaper. The back is raw shards of fiberglass and it will cause extreme irritation if you don't. Make sure you wear a mask. You don't want to breathe that stuff. I'd give a light sand to smooth out the outside too with some light grit paper. Other than that it's really up to you what you want to work on first.
