Bearings Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Hey everyone! I'm done with my shoretrooper build, but my GML has concerns that my undershirt might not be dark enough for approval. It's a shirt that my wife and I made, admittedly in a hurry to finish before celebration. We ordered some grey jersey knit from the internet and it looked pretty good when we made it, but next to other STs it's definitely lighter. Is it too light for basic approval? This is me closest to the camera: Here's my shirt. It's headliner foam backed jersey knit, attached to an old t-shirt. And the matching neck seal (dark grey) horizontal ribbed section, same as the shirt for vertical section. Either way, I'm planning on using some fabric dye to darken it up. Just wanted to see what others thought about it as-is for basic approval purposes. Quote
TK8271 Rogue Trooper Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Yes I would say it is to light. Best solution is dye it darker. Quote
Bearings Posted April 27, 2017 Author Posted April 27, 2017 Ok, thanks. I'll work on dyeing it darker. Quote
Bearings Posted May 3, 2017 Author Posted May 3, 2017 After testing out my fabric dye, it looks much better now: And now I'm finally approved, ST-65535 reporting in! Quote
