Female build alterations??

Recommended Posts

SC kit came in and have been working away at it. I'm a 5'4 busty average size female and find some of the pieces bulky and could use slight mods. Any suggestions on this? Trying to still keep reasonable spacing between each piece

Definitely trim down the shoulder bells. The SC ones are too long. I am 6'0 and I took an inch and a half off of the bottoms.

There's also a bit of the bicep armor you can cut off too, but not much.

Not much you can do with the forearms but with the other two trimmed down you should have more room for them.

As for the chest/back armor, take off as much of the shoulder straps as you need to wear the chest closer to your neck.

Great to see you back at the Pathfinders and that's awesome you got your armor. Before you begin to trim the best way to start is to grab your pieces and start fitting them to your body. Use painters tape to hold the sections together at the shoulders and sides and the back of the belt and so on. The belt should be centered over your belly button. This will give you a good start on how it looks on you and an idea of what mods might be needed. The SC armor is really forgiving for all shapes and sizes so you made a great choice. I wear SC as well and I really like it. Here is a FB page from and earlier post that might also help. It's the Ladies of the Legion page https://www.facebook.com/groups/341692229360888/. Let us know if we can help in any way and best of luck on your build!
