Ordered a pair from Lifestyle and Heritage, been a very long wait, but their last email says they should have stock soon as the spring styles start to arrive. I'll post when they actually get here.

Ordered today from Lifestyle and Heritage Co. Great deal as they were on sale + 10% off for signing up for newsletter. About $100 total with shipping to CA. Hopefully they won't take too long to arrive!

According to several members on the Shoretrooper Fam FB group, Lifestyle and Heritage Co. are known for either not shipping the order, or it taking months to receive. I have sent them an email requesting EXACT information on shipping and if I get anything less than a tracking number with arrival date I will be canceling my order.

At this point it does NOT seem like a good idea to order anything from this company and they should probably be removed from this list.

Got it. Sorry, been a long, long time since I got back on here. Will do.

If the soles were black I would say yes. Maybe you can paint the soles. The would need moderate weathering to make them darker and loose the shine. The mesh/elastic would preferably be black too.

So, I got a pair of brown J95 Jump Chelsea boots from Journeys (can only find link to the black ones on the website - https://www.journeys.com/product/mens-j75-by-jump-chelsea-boot-black-370944?c=3302 ) to wear with my Mandalorian. They were only $60, cheap for leather boots. I recently got some Shoretrooper armor and figured, hey, these are perfect. The sole is more dark brown than black, but the CRL doesn't say anything about the sole and the ones in that picture don't look real black.

A CRL consists of text and images and you have to consider both. So even the text makes no mention of the color of the soles, if the images show a black sole it’s what you should be aiming at. That said, if you have a dark brown sole that is hardly distinguishable from black it would be approvable for basic level.

Sole looks a bit thin, but if you make it black (rubbery black, not pure black paint) it would be acceptable for basic. And of course it needs weathering to make them darker. The boot is not very tall, so you might have issues keeping your shins over your boots.

I don't know about those. That material looks more like suede than leather and that color is much lighter.

Price is great though. I've been wearing mine occasionally and made them part of my Mandalorian Merc costume over a year ago, so I have them weathered enough. Might run by nearby Journeys (if they're open) and pick these up to wear in non-costumed settings so I don't wear out the other pair before I finish my ST build.

Yep, definitely suede according to the item’s description.

Not sure if I should be posting on an old thread like this, but I figure if I'm new, and I dug through it looking for info, then someone else might, as well.

I just received my boots from Ardmoor. I purchased the "Sand" in size "EU47 UK12" when I normally wear around a 12-13 in Doc Martens or Nike.

The price was £61.25, shipping at £29.95, for a total of £91.20, or $119.39.

Ordered on 4/9/2022 (yes, during the virtual armor party) and received in Indianapolis, IN today, 4/18/2022 through DHL.

They are a LITTLE loose, but as I normally troop in thicker, wicking socks (FFS, the Resistance Pilot wears snow boots), they should be just fine.

So there's some more up-to-date boot information, if y'all want it.

So it would probably be a safe assumption to order the 9 1/2 size if I normally wear 10s?

Looking back over the sites I was using, I would assume so?
Disclaimer: I'm not an expert, nor do I pretend to be one on the internet. ;) One site does refer to them as a "generous" boot, though, so you're probably on the right track.
