Is this 501st quality?

Recommended Posts

Cristian has reportedly done a much better job selling his wares on Etsy than he did here in the forum, but he did have a history of absurdly long wait times and some missed orders. His stuff is top quality however.

Well that's really good to hear! I stand corrected.

We'll see! It's harder to keep track of what's going on with him since he is doing things through Etsy now, but that's what I've heard :)

I recently odererd a vest from his eBay store. It shipped in about a week and 2 weeks later it was at my door. I was very sastified with the quality. I was a little iffy about the quality when I ordered it but all my concerns were gone when I opened the box.

I have bad experiences with him, i ordered soft parts two years ago and paid more than 300$ i trusted him cause he had nice feedback but after false excuses it was too late to open case with paypal and needed to find new armourer. He refuse to refund me with all benefits he has on etsy. Beware of him

So, I have a new question I suppose now. In another discussion regarding soft parts on Etsy, Mickey you mentioned a guy on face book who also makes soft armor parts? Would it be a more wise decision to get soft armor from him?

It was probably Max's Sci Fi

As for wiser.... it's hard to say. Cristian has supposedly cleaned up his act since opening his etsy store. But at the same time, since we can't keep track of his business, we have no idea if he is still having the same shipping issues and issues with bad communication. I've just heard that folks who have ordered from him are very satisfied.

Max's has a good reputation, one or two incidents aside, but they do tend to get backed up so keep that in mind for timing

I used max for my flak vest took a few weeks but all custom and great quality.

I also used kripton for my other soft parts it took a few weeks but it did arrive to me and was great product. I went by the reviews was somewhat cautious and hoped for the best. He came thru however if any concerns I would check out ppl around these boards if any worry :)

Christian has also made some kind of deal with FedEx recently (according to his Facebook) which makes it even easier for him to ship through Etsy. So if buying from him, only do it through Etsy.

Hm, that's interesting. I had recently ordered two items separately from him -- one from etsy, one from ebay. The ebay item came via fedex and didn't take long at all. The etsy item was sent EMS and took forever (though it did arrive).

The vest, cod, and bund I got from him were top notch and fit perfectly.

You do have to specify for FedEx shipping through Etsy. Good to hear about eBay as well!
