Hey does anyone have knowledge of this piece? I'm thinking of using this on a Don Post mod.

Lots of scouts have that one. Others use DVH, although he is currently taking a break from making his.

With the Don Jarr, you'll likely have to make the backing plate out of a piece of plastic.

Thanks! I was wondering if I could just grind down the grill and aerator--leaving the vinyl backing. But on second thought that probably won't work. DVH looks like a great option--bummer they're on hold.
