TB-1599
I have seen one or two pictures. I was wondering how to keep the faceplate open without having to use my hands...
BikerScout007
Magnets, my boy, magnets! My KS seemed to stay open pretty well on its own. I think this was due to the fact that the "bolts" were rivets and thus the two pieces of plastic are very close together, causing enough friction for it to not fall down My RS Props lid has ridges on the helmet and faceplate that allow it to "lock" in place. You actually have to apply a modicum of force to close the faceplate. But magnets are probably your best bet
TB-1599
I have a SC helmet connected using pop rivets. I will have to check it out when I get home today...
gmrhodes13
I use spring washers behind the nuts, works well and keeps enough tension to hold the helmet open
