TB-1599 Posted March 21, 2017 Share Posted March 21, 2017 I have had this belt for some time and I finally want to get the correct size straps. I grabbed a piece of scrap 1.5 wide nylon and discovered that the current slots are not wide enough to accommodate the strap. Do I just have to widen the slot? *edit* I I just realized I am holding 2" wide strapping. But you can still see it's not wide enough. Retrofire Posted March 21, 2017 Share Posted March 21, 2017 That look like an SC belt. That what I have and while it's a little tight my 1.5" straps fit through the slots. It looks like you might have to open them up a little more. Here's a pic of my belt with the slots cleaned out. Here's where the come through the back. Here they are suited up. I think all of my armor is SC, I just think who ever had it before me didn't take care of it. He double riveted the web belt to the end. So I had to take that little bit off so I can have just the one rivet. I have everything taken apart. I am going to clean, sand and straighten as much as I can..Like I said in my other posts. As far as Lancer is concerned there's no reason you can't take your armor to that next level. You already have a great start with your upgrades it's just a bit more to reach that next level and we're here to help you along the way. I am really pumped and motivated. (yes I know they mean the same thing LOL). To get this done...
