Did my first troop last night and everything felt super comfortable and held up well. HOWEVER, I was getting a little bit of boot sag from the weight of the blaster. It wasn't too bad, but enough to aggravate my OCD mind when it comes to this costume. I'm sure this is a common problem, any good advice on this issue?

Happens to use all. Have a look at Pandatroopers build. He added a adjustable strap to the inside of his boot. That's what I had to do.

A 2x4 inch Velcro patch sewn to your leg and glued to the inside of the boot has held my blasters weight.

I riveted an elastic strap with velcro ends to the inside of the upper holster "strong back". Works decent for me, but may add velcro on the suit legs, since the strap tends to work itself down after a lot of walking.

Thanks guys. I like the Velcro idea gonna give that a try.

I'm using a lightweight (3D printed) blaster for trooping. Not super accurate but only weighs about 100g. I'm also experimenting on making a bikerscout blaster out of foam particularly for trooping.

I've also used sort of a pandatrooper method to stabilize my holster but that still didn't do the trick (at least not entirely).

I have an elastic strap with velcro closures that is also riveted to the holster on the inside. I carry the KS blaster which is, by far, the heaviest. The strap keeps it secure to my leg. I have never had an issue with it sagging.

Even with my hyperfirm blaster I still get a sag. Maybe strider will save us... :)

Same here, it's super light but still enough weight to make the holster droopy. A foam blaster would weigh nothing, that would be awesome

I added Velcro to my legs and inside the boots.
