Removing Wear

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone! I just got some armor, using it for a snowy scout, and it has some wear that I'd like to remove on it. What's the best way to go about this? Would some Krylon white primer do the trick? I have some left over from some ATAT soft pieces.

Your gonna have to knock the black paint off before you prime it. There's a couple of ways to do it 1 you can sand it off and repaint 2 you can take some super fine steel wool and knock the black spray paint off and maybe not have to repaint it. It's up to you and how much weathering it has on it.

It has quite a bit. I feel like putting spray paint might make the armor lose some detail, but with how much wear is on it, I might have to. There's also some wear on the soft goods that I have to figure out how I'm going to remove.

Light grit sandpaper or very fine steel wool is your friend. Man I do agree the lad went a bit overboard with the rattle can....

Awesome, thanks for the help. Nothing a little elbow grease won't solve, I suspect.
