Hey buddy!

Thanks so much for the application! It may be a bit before we can get to it due to elections, but we will try our best!

I might get in trouble for this, but if I was you I'd throw up some pics of my armor pieces showing the strapping.

Not at all! :D The more pics, the better!

Thanks for reaching out to me Alan. I have asked the command staff and lancer review team to provide some feedback. But things look pretty sharp to me.

  • Do you have cutouts on the front of the boot soles?
  • Also, is that a lens on the blaster scope?

Nice looking scout! I like that you chose to go down the dirty road and use the off-white colours, nice touch.

Here's a quick shopping list:

Must haves for current Lancer standards:

- Slots in the toes of the boots (as Griffin pointed out)

- Knee guard strapping needs to be 20mm for the lower strap and 12mm (1/2 inch) for the upper strap

- Shoulder straps should be 12mm (the straps that go around the arm)

- The strapping of the lower und arm armor should be 25mm. Could you please clarify which strapping you used?

- Your mud flap is a bit too long (please have a look at picture below for reference)

Optional/ potential future improvements:

- The shoulder bridge straps are too wide, they should be about 1 inch

- Use of zip cable ties as attatchment method for the shoulder bells

- The stitched chambers on the vest should be 1 inch apart from each other (similiar to the bund)

- Trimming a slope to the shoulders (please see the pandatrooper tutorial eg)

- The cod piece and the CB should be 2 different parts. Also the cod piece should be larger (please see reference on the 501st bikerscout CRL page)

- The belt should sit at least an inch higher which would also require the pouched to be reduced in lenght.

- You do have scope lenses in the blaster as current L2 CRL's require. However, this CRL is wrong and will need to be changed. The screen used blaster did not have this feature ;-)

Cheers

Thanks guys. Strapping was with the SC kit, but i can easily fix the sizing on those items you pointed out. Mud flap is easy enough to fix as well.

Is there a good image or thread for the boot mod?

I will look at the suggested mods as well.

Lens on blaster just pops out, so that's easy.
