So it begins.

The decision has been made.

I'll start building a scout trooper costume.

As I told in my introduction I already have a 501st approved clone trooper costume.

Since then I have two kids, so I look for something more comfortable to troop in with kids around.

I hope to get some help here so I'll keep my eyes open and ask a lot.

Cheers,

Lajos

I have a couple of ideas about some parts.

Please let me know if I'm on the right track.

Gloves

One friend recommended this Thinsulate leather glove.

Of course the strap must go, and it'll get some suede covers on the fingers.

I know it has too many stripes, but will it be okay for basic?

Boots

I already ordered the Palladium boots.

It will get the grooves on the sole and will receive a vinyl cover.

Question: Vinyl or leather?

The helmet is still a big question, since I didn't find anyone near, and the overseas postage seems terribly expensive.

If you can suggest a European maker please let me know.

Also, any comments, suggestions and opinions are welcome!
