Brutus Magnus Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 I'm looking t start this build, and I was looking online the Desert DPM camo blouse and trousers, and I saw there is also a modern battle poop available in the Desert DPM. Would the battle shirt be approvable? It has camo sleeves, but the body color is solid brown, with no pockets to remove. It's designed to be worn under a plate carrier, which should make it ideal to wear under the scout gear as well. https://www.amazon.c...ef=cts_ap_1_vtp Thoughts?
Bally Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 I'm no expert but I think the issue will be that the plain brown area will be visible in the shoulder area, around the sides of the chestplate/backplate, therefore not acceptable.
Grumpy Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Nope. That style of shirt will not work. The chest and back armor tend to move around and those exposed areas can be seen. Should you continue on your build, make sure that the shirt and pants are cotton. The rip-stop material is awful and will not take the proper color when dyeing.
