Cod piece attached to flak vest?

Question. Is the general consensus that the cod piece was attached to the flak vest? I'm finishing up all my soft parts and I was planning on going that route, but wanna make sure that's what others were doing first. I think I saw a few photos of others doing that, but haven't found a lot of information, thanks!

Yup! The elastic needs to be on the inside of the cod piece. Other than that you got it.

I used this picture as reference and I could be wrong but it looks to me like you can see the elastic on the outside bottom of the cod piece because it squares off a little
