Sebswgougou
Hello What should I use to get the right "mustard" color for the sole? Paint spray or shoe dye? And what color exactly ? Thanks
Dart
Hi Sebastien, It's actually more of a "wheat" or "tan" colour. Mustard is too yellow. Also, see if you can get the boots with soles already in that colour - just makes things easier.
Chunk
If you can not find boots with the correct color of sole. You can paint them with any arts & craft ACRYLIC paint. I bought mine at Walmart for .50 Rub the sole down with Acetone (nail polish remover will work) Mix your paint with water prob 80/20 paint/water & brush on lite coats. 3-4 should be enough. Make sure the paint is acrylic, acrylic paint flexes when dry.

Sorry, I'm very late, so, here me comparison pic, I applied a self shine shoe cream on the soles (amber brown color) to give a punch. Now, I think the color is just perfect. And after, for the weathering, I took a walk in the forest, the nature did the job well!
