eBay soft armour any good?

Looking to invest and yet to have access to trade forum. Don't want to waste my money on eBay soft armour if it's no good. Also concerned it might be that banned Etsy guy selling there.... Any help would be appreciated thanks

You've got 5 posts so you should be able to see the trade forum now. Do you have a link to what you were looking at on eBay?

 

With eBay, it's always buyer beware. Have you considered making any of your own stuff? Modding coveralls, etc? That's definitely the most cost effective route.

Yes, I've heard there's a banned member that sells on etsy. There are some links to good vendors through the trade forum. I used Max's Sci Fi through Facebook and am very happy with my undersuit and flak jacket. My boots and cumberbund/cod/pouches were from Chrisx909x and they are fantastic. I think there is a vendor in the U.K. That will do boots and bund as well. Check the trade forum as I don't want to lead you astray with my bad memory! Lol

I think it's only fair to clarify that this forum member wasn't "banned", but suspended with posting privileges restricted to a particular thread addressing issues between himself and paid customers.

 

As with any vendor, protect yourself in your transactions and please practice due diligence in research, and when in doubt private message a member of the staff.

Personally i wouldn't touch anything from ebay for getting items for your costume

 

heard / seen too many people get burnt & end up wasting there money as the GML wont approve it

 

the Trade section will be your best area & not ebay
