luckyxero Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Hi- I'm trying to build a lancer, and had a question. I was inspecting the pictures on the previous post and didn't see any mention of these in the requirements. They look like suede pockets. What are they? Thanks for you help!
EBTrooper Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 I believe you are referring to the "mud flap". If I am correct, this is just a piece of black seude that covered the bottom. They look like pockets thanks to the strap of the cummerbund/codpiece comming up the middle of them flap. If I am incorrect, please correct me someone!

Nope...the mudflap is just some suede on your booty. Take a look at the reference images and you will see it. Chris
luckyxero Posted March 23, 2007 Author Posted March 23, 2007 I checked all the ref pics in the gallery, and I'm still not seeing it. Help?
madcat1167 Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Here's a better picture of what EB and AS are talking about http://www.bikerscout.net/forum/index.php?...q=si&img=64
TB-1019 Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Correct-- it should be single rectangular flap. It looks like two pieces only because the groin strap (or "thong", as I like to call it) goes over it and makes it look that way. Whether the flap itself is sewn to the seat of the undersuit or whether it hangs from the belt (like on the Gentle Giant scout statue and bust) is a matter for debate.
luckyxero Posted March 23, 2007 Author Posted March 23, 2007 Awesome! Thanks for the help. I must have seen that picture 100 times, but I was always looking at the boxes, and assumed the rectangular piece was 2 pieces. Now it makes $0.01s. :D :D :D :D
