chillywill22 Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Hey everyone i was wondering is there a certain ones that we have to use or requirments for the bridge loops. The ones i use is not supporting enough an looks like there gonna pop . I made 1 5/8 in loops . Anything feedback will be greatly appreciated .
BikerScout007 Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 It's 1.5 and you can use the same straps you use for the dropboxes and chest/back straps
chillywill22 Posted January 10, 2017 Author Posted January 10, 2017 ok cool. I hope that size works cause if not I have no clue what to do . might have to heat treat it a little so it can bend at the tops more to make it fit better
Kyuzo Larkin Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 I had a similar question, is there a proper way to make the shoulder loops so they're taught? Mine were too loose because I used a sewing machine instead of hand stitching them. So I did what i could with them, and ended up just duct taping the armor pieces together, using the loops to cover the duct tape. Is there a proper shoulder loop tutorial? I had major problems trying to orient the loops to properly stitch them by machine.
Retrofire Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 Check out PandaTroopers thread. He has a great method to make the loops using the cotton with elastic that will keep that bridge nice and tight. I used it and my bridge straps don't move at all.
