Jobee Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Hi folks - As someone who hasn't cut armor much, how have you accomplished rounding out the corners of the SC shoulder bells? Did you use a measurement or some type of pattern? And what did you use to cut - xacto? Scoring and snapping doesn't seem precise enough for this sort of thing. Thank you!
StoutScout Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Get a pair of curved Lexan scissors like this: https://www.amazon.com/Integy-Hobby-C23053-Curved-Scissors/dp/B00QYZOS7G. 2
Bobik96 Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 A file works very well for smoothing after you cut with the scissors.
kayelbe Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Take a coin with the right radius and trace it out. I used an Xacto and score n snapped it. A little sand paper to finish it off.
Chunk Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Used a coin to mark the & used a rotary tool on high to take down. Finished off with fine sandpaper.
