Rounding the Shoulder Bells

Hi folks -

 

As someone who hasn't cut armor much, how have you accomplished rounding out the corners of the SC shoulder bells? Did you use a measurement or some type of pattern?

 

And what did you use to cut - xacto? Scoring and snapping doesn't seem precise enough for this sort of thing.

A file works very well for smoothing after you cut with the scissors.

Take a coin with the right radius and trace it out. I used an Xacto and score n snapped it. A little sand paper to finish it off.

Used a coin to mark the & used a rotary tool on high to take down. Finished off with fine sandpaper.
