Question-3D File accuracy

Recommended Posts

I recently found a website that sells 3D models of various different costume armors and I ponied up the funds and haven't received the files just yet I was wondering if they were even remotely accurate from the photos on their site.

Let me know your thoughts, please and thank you

FWIW, I've only just heard of this site today, and the guy who mentioned do3d printed some stuff that looked pretty good.

Maybe I'm wrong, but that almost looks like the animated Rebels version of a scout.. (and not sure why the cummerbund is showing as a hard printed file, not a soft part as it should be) plus no pouches on that, so maybe it's throwing me off

  • 2 weeks later...

Started printing the helmet and will be comparing it to my Altmann's as I go.

So far the printed one is not as ovular as the Altmann's from the top down. I'll keep this thread updated of the progress, hopefully the print is decent enough to be acceptable for approval.
