KDuB Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 All, Anyone have a template or some measurements for the cuts on the front of the boots? Any assistance would be great... KDuB
star-trooper Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Hi I have got my boots from Marcel too, and needs to be alter abit. Are the front cuts required for basic entry requirements? Please correct me if I am wrong. I think it is every alternate notch that needs to be cut (refer to the Lancer standard photos)

However it looks way better. Yes notched soles are a Lancer standard.
KDuB Posted December 12, 2016 Author Posted December 12, 2016 And thats why I asked. I knew that basic doesn't require them, but I would like to build to LANCER standard from the ground up. That way I don't have to modify things later. I bought from Marcel and they are great, just need that little tweek.
BikerScout007 Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Usually folks just do a basic "tooth-space-tooth-space-tooth-space" etc pattern when they cut the fronts. And that's fine, you'll get Lancer with that. But if you want to go for extra credit and really copy the originals. The pattern is more like "tooth-space-two teeth-space-two teeth-space-tooth" etc. Here's a pair of Sierras where you can see the pattern:
KDuB Posted December 12, 2016 Author Posted December 12, 2016 Mickey, That's what I was looking for.... Got any more pics? or did you pull it off the web? A front would be super helpful.
