trooper1389
Hello all again. As we slowly get all the parts to fit together to make the final bucks, I figured on butting up a WIP here for the armor part of our kit. We made this kit from white ABS, I could not get my hands on black, but for our prototype it's great and for a tanker or TK it's perfect lol. We did try and put as much attention to the detail from what we had. but as we fine tune the parts once we are good to go we will be able to make sure all detail is there. Here are some pictures that I was able to take here and there as we had to get this prototype out asap. Like always constructive criticism is a plus. here are 3 full sets including resin parts for detail. I lost count of the parts by the time I reached 70 so total there will be way over 70 parts lol here is the chest, did not notice that there was a small dent on one side of the chest that had to be fixed kind of like a door dent fixed on a car lol. but the what I do like the most is the ab section, for this section there are 5 parts one ABS and 4 greemelies for the detail. On this picture one small piece to the left is missing but we do have it lol.
trooper1389
Here is a layout of some of the parts from the kit. Like I said I know it's white but paint will fix it lol. I did make lots of resin parts for the kit as we wanted as much detail to show. For the AB plate I made 4 resin parts For the back I made several parts will take detail pictures tonight and upload them here. The side plates and rectangle within a rectangle thing lol Here I put one on for reference on another plate. I do have the boxes for the back but did not ha a picture loaded. I have photobucket lol. will have more pictures in the next few days with them attached, primer and painted.
trooper1389
Working all day no time for pics but got this one. It's firing pretty well.
trooper1389
Started to make sure all parts are present. Forgot to add the shoulder steps made out of rubber. Boot straps large and small made out of a Plasticks type of resin a bit flexible. Bit it's lol there
trooper1389
Shins. Left and right. I rushed here and made one side a bit longer than the other. So for now we tried them on a taller person 5-11 and here are the results. We are happy any constructive criticism is most welcome. See size difference. but did work out lol. Something to back them up shims to keep in place with the with far enough to allow the shin guard to sit in place. Not bad after some TLC

Obey Wann
The number one question I get every day is: what size trooper will this fit? How does it compare to say AM2.0, or an Anovos or MC TK? I'm sure the quality will be top notch. Can't wait to see it all!

I'm 5-8 and my friend is 5-11 it fits us both well so it will fit a good range. Like all armor it's made to fit lol.
Obey Wann
Thanks, how about chest size/weight? Us bigger guys are having problems finding the right parts without mixing and matching. That's why I mentioned Am 2.0 or the KB.

trooper1389
I'. nearly 6'1" and 205lbs, will this work for me? It should. With shims and a little bit of extra TLC it sould fit fine. One of the guys is 5-11 200 and we adjusted the side shims and he fits in it. Might have to do the same. The good thing bout this suit is it's easier to adjust to almost any size becuse of the NO thighs. I'm 5-8 and had to cut off about one I ch from the fore arms to fit. So I'm thinking in making additional forearms for smaller guys lol.

trooper1389
do you also sell pars of these or only the complete thing? Perhaps we can depending on the parts you're looking for. Send me a list of what you need.

trooper1389
OK here is a pic of a couple of suits finished and ready for battle. This is the reason we made this armor was to help the Venezuela Garrison get to the primer in style lol. Augusto thank you for being part of this project without you I would have not done it at all lol. As you can see it was a bit of work to get these done, but in the next few weeks I will be making some adjustments to the shins and start production January. If anyone has questions, don't hesitate to contact me directly. I have never had a problem providing my information in other boards so here it is. tk1389@theimperialdepot.com is my email or trooper1389@yahoo.com my cell in the US 951-532-0616 send me a text first before you call please lol I work odd hours and if i don't answer leave a message. Or on the link below for my FB page. Thanks and enjoy. I will update this post with the build as we start a build from scratch in Jannuary.
DarthMel
I have a question about the shins. What is the largest sized calf that they will fit?
trooper1389
I have a question about the shins. What is the largest sized calf that they will fit? I'll have to check on that I'll measure the shin guard and get back to you. The shin guards are the main part of the shins, as the shin itself can be adjusted but not the guards. Might have to do a couple of size parts for the shins and fire arms to acomodate people.
Obey Wann
As a point of reference, I have 19 3/4" calf muscles. I was unable to fit into the Jimmi calf, and was able to just fit into the 850 without shimming. Because the Jimmi is fiberglass, and had built in details preventing shimming, sadly, this made that kit a no-go for me. As a vendor, if you did offer different size parts (similar to OSCS tall and short clone armor) this would be extremely beneficial to the community. Some parts are relatively easy to shim (forearms and biceps), but the calf can get more difficult, due to the front shin guard armor. I receive questions just about every day about what size kit will fit whom. Especially by larger troopers. There is definitely a need for the option for bigger guys.

Yep I'm making another set of calf and shinguard for taller people. I did gave extra room on the sides of the chest and back for the bigger people that will help them. As for the smaller people they will have to trim it back down. I also added extra material to the side shims for the ab and kidney plates. I'm happy with what's coming out
