Questions about the helmet

Recommended Posts

So at this point I'm just building the helmet (not terribly worried about certification that may come later)

but I have a couple quick questions.

1) Of the people already building. Are you painting the helmet and "visor" separately or are you attaching the visor then painting. if your attaching later.... HOW??? also is there enough room behind the attached visor to get a paint brush, rattle can, or airbrush back there?

2) Where would be the appropriate place to put a WIP thread??? HQ seems to have a few but also seems t be more of a place for research.

Thanks in advance

May the Tader be with you, always

2) Shoretrooper HQ is a fine place for a WIP thread.

I'll see if I can get you an answer for 1)

It would depend what kit you have whether or not the visor comes pre-attached. Most people would use e6000 or CA glue to attach it if it did not come pre-attached.

Painting again would depend on the style of helmet. Jim's helmet for instance has the pre-attached visor. Painting is really no problem though.

HQ would be the place for a build thread.
