Deadeye Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Before I start working on my boots, I figure I should ask this. I bought this marine vinyl on Amazon because it was the highest rated--I believe for the weight of it. From the pictures I thought the texture was smaller and less pronounced but now that I have it in hand it's pretty "robust". Is it going to be a problem for approval? I don't really plan to go for Lancer approval but I guess it's worth questioning if it will present a problem if I for that later. Thoughts?
Stroker Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 It's fine for basic approval. I found the best stuff to be on eBay. It very, very light textured. I can get you a link if you want it. 2
BikerScout007 Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Yeah I'd have to see it assembled to know for sure on Lancer but for basic you are fine 1
Deadeye Posted November 4, 2016 Author Posted November 4, 2016 Thanks very much, gentlemen. I appreciate your responses. Tim, if you are able to send me the link I would very much appreciate seeing another option and then I can weigh out whether I want to switch it before I build. Thanks
StoutScout Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 I used the marine vinyl from JoAnn's Fabrics and it was great. The texture is very subtle and the material was great to work with. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk 1
