netslave Posted November 3, 2016 Share Posted November 3, 2016 The Hip Armor Wraps around each leg, and connects to the back with a painted, flexible material like Rubber or Leather. There doesn't seem to be able visible connection point in the front. Just connects under the belt or ab plate. I'm curious if we'll actually see that in the movie consistently though. With the toy marketing, and with the vast amount of reference we have so far, all we've seen is the one Behind the Scenes pic of the hip armor, squad leader. That seems more like a costuming error. I have seen a couple pictures (online and Rogue One visual dictionary) where the hip plates appear to be made out of leather. Apologies if this has already been brought up elsewhere.
