Guest TD832
oh thats good chris funny thing is i have in noway offerd anything for sale here what i do on ebay is my own personal thing read this What would you have us do, SGB? Ban him? He's a 501st member which entitles him to have access to this board. He's violated no forum or Legion rule. If he posted a for-sale thread here for a run of these things, I would shut it down just as fast as if it were an SFP sale, but he didn't do that. Some other person posted a link to an eBay auction (another thing the Legion takes no position on monitoring) that showed the object in question. If anyone needs to be reprimanded for violating forum rules, it was that guy (who even admitted that he was violating them). I immediately deleted the link and the auction number and closed the thread. but at the end of the day your the boss here so you can do what you like

Heatshock
major respect man. I know of the 501s official stance on recastin and realise how hands may be tied etc but that took major leadership and demonstrated personal commitment to the prop replica community's ideal (that I personally share). Even if a perma ban cant be officially applied eventually due to COC etc - kudos on the symbolic move mate *salute* Nate

Mike worked is ass off to get that BARC armor ready and Jason screwed him over. Not how 501st members should treat each other! Chris
Guest skygunbro
All I can say is thanks Army scout. I wish everyone understood rules or not stealing another persons work 501st or not is wrong and then being very un apologetic about it and rubbing it everyones face that your being protected even though you did something wrong sucks. Again thanks.
TB-7076
Hey Chris - in case you need some eagle eyes to help with the theoretical side of the barc armor just contact me. I hope you don't exclude innocent people. Well I wish Mike would have finished this as he was the first to start the Barc and I still hope he will at least finish his own personal Barc. I dropped the whole barc project once I was taken from the run when it got known that a helmet was bought from a recaster in germany. I knew that was the end of all hopes for a quality barc so I dumped my plans. ....should there be hope for a second attempt on a high level and with the option to get one I might consider reviving the project. ...and if it was just to show europe how a barc really looks like. Stomper
Chris, You need a wheelbarrow to haul your stones around in!! I have been following this situation for a little while now, and the flagrant arrogance of some people is nothing short of astounding. Thanks for at least imposing some sort of consequence on wrong behavior! FYI- you have earned the "not so easily won" respect of a few prop/armor-makers! Guest skygunbro
Thanks Im looking into it. I did a little digging already and found out his name is Brady A. Miller from the Ohio Garrison. It is def. a casting from the PGHFETT mold now to find out if he got it from me or pghfett or bought it second hand. I figured it out by his ebay name if you look at the letters they spell brady. and his location matches the ebay location which I didnt even see lol til after. I sent him a message we will see what he says. I checked my paypal records and no sale was made to his name..not saying he didnt pay for it under someone elses paypal or sent a MO or he could have bought it second hand. It appears to be a legit helmet. I do make them out of fiberglass just like all the other buckets i do A fiberglass exterior with a roto coated interior. The visor on the Barcs I hand fiberglass with matting. I dont think this is a recast but we will see. Also I dont want to ruin some guys reputation by calling out recaster before we even know.Mike and I have records of all the legit helmets sold which wasnt a ton so it makes it a little easier to narrow things down. I do appreciate you guys looking out though very cool of all of you.Ill let you know what i find out.
