fil5117
I'm in the process of upgrading my fiancee's knee armour from SC to Chef. I'm wondering about the width of the elastic, especially for the lower and wider elastic. The CRL states the elastic should be 25mm, at the moment our slot for the elastic is 20mm, but could be widened to 25mm. The only screen reference I can find for the elastic looks to be approximately half the width of the slot. The reason I'm asking is that we're prepping to go for Lancer. I'm not sure if the reference I have seen is the exception to the rule, or it's folded over, or something else that I'm not aware of. Cheers. Chef
There is a bit of a discussion ongoing about this at the moment Phil. The current specs states 25mm for the lower one (which will go through that slot), but there is some speculation about whether its closer to 20mm for the strap. I've get to get some decent enough pictures that will allow me to scale the straps and get a better idea of what it is. I think in the one above, it's pulled tight, which naturally makes it thinner. So I don't think it is as small as 12-15mm. Could it be 20... possibly. We'll keep you updated, but at the moment the specs state 25mm.

BikerScout007
Also, the green screen biker chase scenes were the very last things shot for the film. Who knows how many last minute repairs were needed after what the armor had been through. A lot of the "hey what about this exception?" pics that people post are from this part of the movie.
