Whereswa11y
Hi all, My kit has been battle tested as a Pathfinder for a couple of years now against hordes of younglings and paparazzi. I've had the opportunity to do some gradual tweaks in anticipation of lancer deployment. Thank you for taking the time to consider this request. BikerScout007
Thanks for your application! We will review and get back to you. Just for the sake of our convenience (and you do want to make things easy for us, right?) could you edit this post so that the graphics appear inline? Having to click each link to go to Photobucket really slows the process down. Next to the photo in photobucket where it says "share this photo", you click the link next to "IMG" and paste it into your post Many thanks! BikerScout007
Okay buddy, here is your to-do list: 1) We can't see the ribs on the bund. I think they are there but we really can't make them out very well. You may want to take photos in the daylight or else make sure the stitches are well defined 2) Your vest sleeves are bunching up. They may be too long or too baggy but there is an issue there. 3) Remove the clips from your gloves 4) The rear drop straps need to come inwards, so they are mounted closer to the Thermal Detonator. They should meet it at the corners ideally. 5) Chest/back joins... use the same stuff you used for your dropbox straps 6) You should use cotton webbing for your shoulder bridges as well 7) Paint the screw heads on his blaster grip black. 8) Move your holster magnet inside your boot so it is not visible from the outside. 9) Suede patches: is that real suede or faux suede? Also, the butt flap seems a bit short.
Whereswa11y
Thanks for the feedback :-) 1. Here is an outdoor photo that shows the ribs on the bund. Is that better? IMG_0150 by Wayne Walters, on Flickr 2. Sleeves have now been trimmed back and are no longer baggy. DSCF1285 by Wayne Walters, on Flickr 3. I've removed clips from the gloves AND the little loops. DSCF1299 by Wayne Walters, on Flickr 4/5/6. Position of rear strapping for drop boxes has been changes so that they are at corners of TD. Same cotton strapping/webbing is now used for side webbing between chest and back armor and for shoulder bridges. Magnet has now been removed from holster. DSCF1300 by Wayne Walters, on Flickr 9. I've made a longer butt flap from real suede. I've tried to adjust brightness so it is easier to see that it is now a couple of inches or so longer. BikerScout007
You need to get rid of the little loops that were holding the clips on your gloves too. An exacto knife should do the trick If you are getting new cotton webbing anyway, you may as well replace the shoulder bridges so it all matches Did you use E6000 on the magnet? It should just be able to come off with a bit of force. I glued mine inside my boot to the reinforcement bracket that SC includes with their kit.
Whereswa11y
Hi gents, thank you for your patience. I've made all of the modifcations and updated my post from 13 October with pictures as evidence. I needed to change to using Flickr for my photos as Photobucket has been down for maintenance since yesterday. Thank you for taking the time to review this. Cheers Wayne
