DaringDragoon
Hi, Helping my anti-social, yet cosplyer wife (strange I know) do preliminary work on a Scout Armor build (working on a Heavy Weapon TK myself). Anyone ever posted a thread on the total cost of a build?
BikerScout007
it depends on how much you want to spend and how much you do yourself. With a lot of time spent on a sewing machine you can probably get it under $1000. With a bit more outsourcing, probably closer to $1500 Again, I encourage you to get in touch with the So. California Biker Scout ART, we can help you with local resources.
SikSiks
Total cost can vary greatly depending on how much you do yourself. You can build your own boots for less than $40 or buy a set from a vendor for between 180-200, same for the bund, pouches, flightsuit, vest... the hard armor is going to run you near 700$ with an uncompleted helmet and closer to 850-900 if you build a finished helmet. So your answer is, it varies. but expect to spend between $900-1500 *Edit: beaten by a minute*
Nexous
Reiterating what others are saying. Base cost is roughly $900, that is with you doing the following > Buying SC Helmet / Armor Combo > Flightsuit, modify yourself > Bund, Cod, & Pouches, made yourself > Boots, purchased and made yourself if you're looking to outsource > Flightsuit, modded can be $60-80 > Bund, Cod, Pouches roughly $150-200 > Boots, $150-200 Super rough numbers / ideas as vendors come and go and pricing varies
