BikerScout007 Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Hot glue is definitely not the strongest hold, but it's probably one of the easiest to re-do if something gets messed up. It's easy to scrape off the residue and start over again if something disastrous happens like your lens breaking..... 1 Quote
Erik R Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 I also agree with hotglue. However, on my TB helmet I used JB weld. My visor is 1/8" though, so I could really clamp it in without malformation. I found that on my merc, pretty much everything is a temporary fix that's never replaced... 1 Quote
Bobik96 Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 If it has a protective film on the inside I would suggest leaving it on until it is attached. If it doesn't I would tape the inside while your applying hot glue. This way if you drip hot glue on the lens it doesn't leave a permanent mark. Quote
