TXBolt
I got my SHOC lens in last week, and I'm wrapping up the sanding and such on my bucket. Before I start throwing primer and paint on things, I got to wondering... How do I attach the lens to the helmet? Is it just E3000? Thanks! gmrhodes13
X3 for hot glue BUT mine came loose so I used hot glue in a few key areas then applied silicon in the rest as it has some flex, hasn't faulted so far
BikerScout007
Hot glue is definitely not the strongest hold, but it's probably one of the easiest to re-do if something gets messed up. It's easy to scrape off the residue and start over again if something disastrous happens like your lens breaking.....
Erik R
I also agree with hotglue. However, on my TB helmet I used JB weld. My visor is 1/8" though, so I could really clamp it in without malformation. I found that on my merc, pretty much everything is a temporary fix that's never replaced...
Bobik96
If it has a protective film on the inside I would suggest leaving it on until it is attached. If it doesn't I would tape the inside while your applying hot glue. This way if you drip hot glue on the lens it doesn't leave a permanent mark.
