Questions on New Lancer Standards

Canterbury Tail

Recommended Posts

Quick question today (thanks for that for us non-Pathfinders Chef.) (for reference http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=15994&pid=143967&st=0entry143967)

When will the new images for the Cumerbund etc be available? I ask as I'm in the process of doing my soft parts for regular membership right now and would prefer to do them to Lancer standards straight off if possible (and due to not having a helmet or gloves yet I don't be able to get my application in before the start of October.)

One additional item. I just cut my chest and back armour to allow for the 1 3/4 inch straps between the plates. With the new 1.5 inch standard, will that extra size of the hole in the armour be a negative on the application?

We're in the process of sorting out all the 'reference' stuff at the moment... Or at least collating it all. There is plenty of it floating around on here already, it's just not all nice and neat in one place.

Straps wise. That extra gap will not be a negative for your application. It'll be hardly noticeable, as it equates to about 2-3mm overall.

To piggyback off of this question, will the bund end just above the belt as in the costume picture or will the current deal of the belt going over the bund still be what's expected? My pouches aren't attached to my bund yet and this would make a difference on the height placement as well as the belt adjustment.

Thanks,

Jamie
