Not much room for scout bags on cumberbund

Trying on my upper body armor tonight and my belt there is not a lot of room for bags on my cumberbund. I'm 5 foot 10 tho still seems like the bags will be very small . Is there a requirement for the size of the bags ? I must say tho looking at my gear on in the mirror dang it looks good so far .

Basically to have them looking square to the body and space between chest and belt (or slightly over the belt), one size does not fit all.

Photos would help ;)

If you think that your pouches are going to be too small then they are probably the right size. The majority of folks out there have pouches that are way too big. Even mine are too big I just haven't gotten around to replacing them yet.

The pouches should fit in the gap between the bottom of your armor and the top of your belt -- WHEN THE BELT IS WORN ACROSS YOUR WAIST -- not down on the hips as is the fashion these days. A minimum of overhang is fine. Look at some actual movie scouts and you'll see what I mean:

The pouches just aren't all that big.

What exagerates the challenge is that most armors that are currently out there are too long to varying degrees. So even if you had the perfectly sized pouch it would hang over your belt. Which goes back to Mickey's point to make them rather too small.
