Opinion before I glue dog bone

[Canterbury Tail]

I just wanted to get people's opinions on the dog bone here before I glue it down. Sorry for the fingers, but I needed to hold it where I wanted it to go. Does it look right to people? In comparing with others I think it's fine.

 

Also is it only glued at the ends and left unglued across the middle?
