My KS kit arrived a month ago. As I was cleaning up the parts I really gave the plastic a thorough inspection. I was extremely disappointed. Dry fitting everything only deepened by disappointment. No matter how the helmet came together, I knew I wasn't going to be happy with it. I immediately ordered a fan-made kit from a guy in Singapore. The plastic is H.I.P.S. I have no problem with that. I've had H.I.P.S. before and it's a nice medium to work with. However, the parts are molded in exactly the same way that the CB helmet kit parts are molded. Halves for the helmet back and visor. I expect the kit to look as good as the CB.

It is a CB kit. He sells under a few different accounts via eBay. Those kits are super thin.

I think every helm has its flaws . I'm not sure EFX might have nailed it tho time will tell . Over all most biker helmets look better on some than others .

Thanks for the comparison shots! These are always helpful for Troopers investigating different sizes, and this shot runs the gamut - small, medium, large...

We should try to get the "definitive" helmet comparison shots at Celebration next year. I bet there will be one each of every reputable maker floating around that we can get together.
