Nexous
Off to a good start Soft Goods in my opinion are probably the most important thing to nail down perfectly, whoever you go with make sure they get it right.

Can't like that enough! I've had my soft parts done three times! Now I just do it myself! If you plan on going Lancer get as close as you can out of the gate!
syllander
Armor ordered....looking at Max's scifi creations for cummerbund and flak vest/pouches. Any feedback on them?
Nexous
I have their stuff. Had to get some adjustments done after receiving, but fortunately I live within driving distance. Joleen & Gabe are really great people though and can't say enough nice things about the quality.
syllander
List updated. Should have my armor by Tuesday. Soft good will be the longest wait, looks like around three months. I'd try some of it myself but between work/gym/Vader there's a shortage of time...
syllander
SC armor procured. 1 day ship? Jeff was cool for all 1 days we discussed things, lol. Awesome!
Nexous
Jeff's customer service is top-notch. Seriously. Not even a bias comment, he takes care of his Scouts
syllander
No pics just yet, but I've got my flight suit modded, butt flap and thigh patches complete. I've done a quick search, but as I didn't really find what I was looking for, what is the best method of attaching the elastic to the armor? Was thinking glued snaps on the inside of the bicep/knee/forearm, than a snap attached to the elastic? Thoughts?
StoutScout
Most use sticky hook velcro on the armor and sew loop velcro to the elastic. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk

Only items left to purchase is the blaster and decal kit...
tfett40
Sean..Boba, Kylo now a Scout....when is the madness going to stop??? @syllander Lou (darth Voorhess) sells a nice lightweight Holdout blaster that fits in your SC armor boot nicely and it is fitted with magnets to secure it.
syllander
It must never end...Boba is gone but not forgotten, but the scout will proceed. Gotta get the scout lid built over the Christmas break...BTW, im only a holster and blaster away from Krennic...
syllander
Slow go here, but soft parts have shipped from Maxs Sci-Fi Creations and helmet is out to Artisan FX for assembly and paint. Should get some pics up once I can have more on than just my boots...would not make for a very appealing photo.
syllander
http://s1380.photobucket.com/user/Sean_Yllander/media/IMG_1688_zpsh3bzfsec.jpg.html?filters[user]=142348729&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=0 Apologies for sucking at photobucket. Hate it, always will. Looks like the flak vest needs the poof in the shoulders removed, maybe tighten the legs and arms a tad? Butt flap is very hard to see as both blacks blend pretty well currently. Any feedback is welcome guys, thank you!

Stroker
Looking good. The pouches are backwards. The vest sleeves look a tad baggy. The vest looks like the closure maybe off center a bit? Your elastic coming from the cod looks a bit tight and the suits looks a bit baggy. I know not what you wanted to hear, but that's just small stuff that can be corrected very easy. Your there. Just a little adjustment.
syllander
Thanks! Nothing wrong at all with critique....that's what I need to hear! It's done me good seeing the pics myself. It's one thing to look in the mirror, but to really take in what needs correcting by going over the pictures is the way to go. Plan on getting the FS to the seamstress tomorrow to tighten the legs and sleeves. Will also have her tighten the flares on the shoulders. My daughter fixed the velcro on the vest and bund so I'm sure there was a bit of "Really Dad" mixed in there... In talks now to get another bund/cod/pouches/vest. Not totally crazy with these but they'll do until I get another set. Vest seam is way off center. Doesn't matter too much as this one is gone ASAP. About an inch too small for me.
Stroker
The legs and sleeves is super easy just fold them inside out and run a new stitch. Don't feel bad I've been in the legion going on four years and I'm still changing stuff because I don't think it's up to spec or doesn't look right to me.
