Retrofire Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Please add all the reference photos to this thread. This will help organization and a cohesive package to submit to the LMO when the time comes.
Retrofire Posted July 26, 2016 Author Posted July 26, 2016 Thanks to everyone getting these pics together! 1
Inklegg Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Hm, chest stripe is on the wrong side... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Bubonos Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Hm, chest stripe is on the wrong side... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I didn't see that at first! So we will definitely need new armor for this build.
Bubonos Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 I'm seeing some kind of new decal on the back hump and the stripe is just horizontal. Another new decal on the bucket The bicep pad is different No pouches mentioned but the bund is ribbed all the way around and the box on the belt is different. Im curious about how much more is different.
Mandalorean Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 All parts of the armour are different in shape and/or dimensions from ROTJ armour. I don't think any part of an ROTJ armour kit could be used without modification. The ribs on the 'bund do look as if they go all they way around and there looks to be no visible closure to the 'bund either. Pouches, flack vest and TD seem to have been omitted and so far we have no confirmation for a riding patch, thigh elastics or but flap either 2
Stroker Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 Someone is gonna have to produce the armor before anything can really be done.
Retrofire Posted July 30, 2016 Author Posted July 30, 2016 Hm, chest stripe is on the wrong side... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Good eye. I accounted for that in the draft CRL. The red decal on the tank looks kind of like the Medic decal from the Special Ops Medic.
Dragon_a Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Well i think tonight is the night we finally get to see them 2
Nacho Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Here are some screen grabs from the Episode (currently on a work computer and it really hates imbedding pics for some reason) http://s247.photobuc...20Biker%20Scout 1
Nacho Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Very true. I'd like to see what some of the builders will come up with if they decide to build it.
bikerscout73 Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 The pouches have been moved from the bund to the belt where the thigh boxes go. Looks kinda funny to me
SanTan Scout Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 the lens look huge...the visor seems to come down lower on the side??
stasz Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Man, I'm hoping that when this season comes out on DVD there will be a character model gallery or something. I think this would be a really fun build, but even after the episode aired, good reference is scarce.
Bowfanny Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 I am interested in getting in on this type of build as well.
Darth Voorhees Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 I am 100% in to make this armor. 2
Retrofire Posted September 27, 2017 Author Posted September 27, 2017 Some additional reference pics. Note the red decals on the belt boxes and back of the helmet. The snout is pretty interesting too. One other item is that there doesn't seem to be a "v" on the front belt box like the ROTJ scout. 2

StephTrooper Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Great pics man, thanks for all the work. I still wonder if this fella from RO is Ezra. I want to make that last costume posted Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Digger Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 I got some more, The padding inside is pretty cool Are the back and front armor connected by an extra strip of armor or is that just the way they draw the cotton connection strips? 1
