Erik R Posted July 25, 2016 Share Posted July 25, 2016 Hey everyone, I'm sorta piecing together my kit from 2nd hand sources, so I'm wondering if it'd be acceptable to make my own drop boxes. They seem fairly simple and straightforward to build, all straight planes. If someone with accurate drop boxes wouldn't mind posting dimensions (pics with a ruler against edges) that'd be a great help to building a set! stasz Posted July 25, 2016 Share Posted July 25, 2016 I can't take a pic right at the moment, but this is from SC's website: The Thigh Boxes The thigh boxes are approximately 11.5 cm deep, 17.8 cm wide in the front and 19 cm wide in the back along it's base. The front wall is 5 cm tall and the back wall is 9 cm tall. stasz Posted July 26, 2016 Share Posted July 26, 2016 Jeff is the man. That site is a great resource. I can't get a good picture of my measuring tape on the box by myself. Can't hold everything and take the pic :/ But eyeballing it, everything seems to be at least 2-3cm bigger than his biggest measurements in the drawing.
