Hey all, just recently started working with getting the scout trooper armor ready, and I was curious, anyone have any general tips they're willing to give out to a newbie yearning to join the 501st? Any help would be appreciated!

Oh shoot, just realized I may have posted in the wrong thread, if someone is willing to move me over to introductions or whatever that'd be awesome, thanks.

Welcome Quinn! No worries, introductions are posted here from time to time. A tip I would give is to research every part of the scout carefully before going into purchasing the goods. I can recommend vendors, and armourers all day, but it'll be up to you. And, take your time :)

Im in amish land as well! Just finished mine and got approved. I would be willing to lend a hand if you are close. PM me and I can help you get in contact with our garrison if you haven't already.

Also, Retro paid it forward to me with some strapping, so I can return the karma! I have some leftover materials from my cummerbund, pouches, and buttflap I can pass on to you. I also have all of the tools needed if you want to save some money there.

Welcome to bikerscout.net! Give the forums a read, and study the CRL. From there you can start figuring out what you need. Feel free to ask questions. We are here for you.
