jfinch88
I'm nearly finished with my Scout build with only boots and belt left. My question is concerning the webbing used to attach drop boxes; can rivets be used to attach the black buckles to the webbing or is this frowned upon?? The buckles don't need to be functional. In the film, the strap passed behind the buckle so it looked like it was functional when it actually wasn't. The webbing was just one long loop that was attached to the belt in the back.

Dart
To echo what John said, you don't really need to do that. There are some that want to make them functional, in which case, you're better off sewing the buckles in with white thread instead of using rivets. In my personal opinion, it's more trouble than it's worth.
