Is the Rubies Collector Helmet acceptable, or can it be made acceptable with modification?

Hi Jennifer. The Rubies helmet would require major modifications to make it 501st approved. You can source a much better helmet from SC or an Altmann's from the Trade Forum. Those have good heritage and a lot of the scouts here wear them. You can find a lot of great information on helmets over in the scout armory under helmets.

Hm, interesting. That is actually a great looking helmet. A little too good to be true particularly at that price.

That was my concern too. The typical Rubies is much worse that that looked in the photo and there is no consistency to them. I don't think that's how it's going to look when it arrives.

They've used that photo for the rubies helmet for years, ever since it went for sale online, ascreencap of the movie, you get what another member just posted, but the can be made to look like the picture shown with mods.

Is this a new release helmet from Rubies? I was under the impression that this helmet was a completely different make from their notoriously awful original helmet.
