Retrofire Posted July 2, 2016 Share Posted July 2, 2016 Hi Jennifer. The Rubies helmet would require major modifications to make it 501st approved. You can source a much better helmet from SC or an Altmann's from the Trade Forum. Those have good heritage and a lot of the scouts here wear them. Maybe some of the other guys can chime in on this. That was my concern too. The typical Rubies is much worse that that looked in the photo and there is no consistency to them.
