That looks great and I think it's as good as you can possibly get it until we know which material they used inside. IMO they used a straight cut which only appeared curved because it was slightly bend. Unfortunately none of the materials I've experimented with so far (buckram, foam, plastic, etc.) were able to do the trick.

Thank you. I agree with the straight cut. I thought otherwise until I made several. It was an interesting experiment.

I slipped back into OCD mode and remade my pouches again. They went from too large then too small. These are in between.

5 1/2 x 6 x 2.

I'm happy with them but think maybe 5 1/2 x 6 x 2 1/2. Would be better LOL.

Yes my belt slid down about an inch. I'm replacing belt Velcro today.

Jason, Well done... I have been making quite a few with the New Cod Piece. I'm loving the fact its not attached so you can experiment. Pockets are my Achilles heel, a love hate relationship.

Thanks! They are tricky. I made several errors along the way, like twice closing the Velcro up inside the pocket flap. Fortunately I made the pouch and flap separate pieces.

Jason I really like how you sized the pouches to your body type. Did you base your initial measurement on the pouch template here or did you make your own?

Thank you. I used the template here but I made the flap a separate piece. I mostly did that so that if I messed it up I didn't have to make the whole thing again.
