TB-17317 Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 So ultimately I want to go for the SideShow look for the boots - weathering and all. Hence the deep cuts and more columns. (The more I look at it the more I want to increase the gaps) I've also been building the rest of my amor against Lancer specs. Question is will the boots pass? Note: I'll be painting the outer sole to be one matching color. Much appreciated.
Stroker Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 I wouldn't take anymore off. That's actual too deep compared to the orginal screen used boots. The details on the real deal are very light. I think they'll be fine after you paint em and make it to where the white stitch isn't showing. To never go off the details of a figure. 99.9% of the time their wrong. 1

I think I'll start over again. I picked these up from Walmart. Not too bad pricewise. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
TB-17317 Posted June 30, 2016 Author Posted June 30, 2016 Yeah... I think I'll start over again. I picked these up from Walmart. Not too bad pricewise. Thanks! Alright. Did a reboot. Wasn't happy with the initial deep cuts in my previous boots. This took longer than seeing the cummerbund and cod. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
TB-17317 Posted July 6, 2016 Author Posted July 6, 2016 Finished the boots! After 2 cut fingers, a ruined rug and a whole lotta glue, I have finished and it fits great! I plan on painting the outer soles later but for now I'm just relieved to be done with these this part of the build. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
