You have the his new 5 piece helmet? If so I've yet to see him put one together that's half decent looking.

Each particular lid has it's own building idiosyncrasies. So unless someone else has made one, he's going to be your best port of call.

It's also made of hips plastic correct? I've seen one together,but it was less than kosher.

I'd hit CB up like chef said. Hips can't take bondo and other fillers like abs plastic can. I used Devcon plastic welder on the 5 piece helmets I put together. I have another question was the helmet trimmed out or just rough trimmed when you got it?

No. He was not trimmed

HIPS should be fine with bondo/filler. Just remember to key the surface first before applying it.

 

Whilst most of this might not pertain to your CB bucket (having never seen one).
