Swift234
So, I'm trying to build for Lancer specs, and I just finished the cuts on my soles. I still have to clean them out a little, but before I do, I thought I'd get as many opinions as possible, so I don't have to do it twice. Let me know what you think... kayelbe
Looks good. I used the same boot (as did many others here). Wasn't nearly as hard to make the cuts as I had feared.
Swift234
Thanks guys! I was really taking that part slow and careful, as its too easy to screw up, and possibly lose a fingertip at the same time!
Swift234
And for those boots, $19 @ K-mart is a steal!
Canterbury Tail
And for those boots, $19 @ K-mart is a steal! Which is why I picked up 2 pairs last time I crossed the border. One for screwups.
Dart
The cuts look good. Very scouty. Nice work! One thing I'll mention, the cuts on the original boots were not really deep. We're talking 1/16" deep. I can appreciate your effort, because I've done the same thing years ago, but for everyone still getting to this point, go easy on yourselves.
Endortreedodger
What boots are these? The work you did looks outstanding by the way
Swift234
I don't remember the name... But they are at Kmart for $19 a pair. Really good deal! Sent from my LG-D801 using Tapatalk

Sent from my LG-D801 using Tapatalk I have the same base boots. "Texas Steer" is the name, but they may have regional branding as I've seen some troopers use the exact same boots from Kmart, but with a different name. It seems like it's always a southwest, rancher type name though.
