kropserkel or SC

Recommended Posts

Gonna be blunt about it. Yes KS is bigger. However if I was you I would avoid KS! It's way oversized and incorrect.

Even if you get it you'll still have to replace the drop boxes and I think the shoulder bells with ones from SC.

Need to know if the Kropserkel chest and back piece are bigger than SC

To answer your question, NO the KS chest/back is NOT larger than the SC. However, the KS drop boxes are the largest out there and are not even close to accurate. The KS bells are large and wonky while the forearms are the smallest out there. The KS biceps, belt (it's a one-piece) and knees are the best part of the armor. I own a KS setup and have replaced all of the offending parts with SC or other armor bits.

So the SC armor is more accurate and a better option?

The SC set falls in the middle of the accuracy range. But what SC has that is better than the rest is lighting fast turnaround times and superb customer service

Mickey's right on target. SC has a fast turn around and great service. If you're interested here are my pre-approval pics: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=15276. I'm wearing the SC with an Altmann's helmet.
