Is it okay to use white pop rivets on the knee armor or is aluminum required for approval?

I wanna go out on a limb and say no. I'd stick to the aluminum pop rivet since we're sure that's what was used on the screen used armor.

For Lancer class, the knee rivets are required to be white. I think Stanley makes white rivets. They're aluminum, pre-painted. seen them at home depot.

Those are what I have on hand. Glad I can use them instead of going out and buying more aluminum ones.

I just like the hand painted look. Also I was thinking about those pop rivets with the plastic head we use in my line of work.

In hindsight I thought redbird might've been talking about those plastic ones too. We have two drawers full at work...

Thats why I said no. We use those on certain jobs like in papermills when running tubbing.
