Do you recommend painting armor first?

Hey guys,

 

Just received my SC kit and about to start.

I've been reading through a few tutorials and walkthoughs. I'm currently following Chef's walkthrough: http://kgbairsoft.com/wordpress/?page_id=122

 

A question I have is, do I need to paint the armor at all? I figure it's white but so are the TK's.

No. I never painted my SC armor. Just the TD tube and the retangle on the chest but SC provides a decal for that and you can use that if you prefer.

There shouldn't be any need to paint the armour. You'll be good as is.

You may run into slightly different hues if you were to source a different bucket, and there's been tell of some different shades to different KS armor parts over the years, but as a general rule, the ABS as is will be fine. And I've not heard of SC having color consistency issues.
