Should the holster be attached to the boot with e6000 as well as the 4 silver rivets? Or do you guys just attach it with the rivets alone?

Thanks in advance :)

I just use rivets with a piece of ABS inside the boot to give the rivets something to grip. You can also attach Velcro to the top part to help keep your boot from sagging depending on how heavy your blaster is.

Awesome! Yeah, I have a piece of ABS and a velcro loop made for the inside. Just wanted to see if some sort of adhesive should be used as well. Thanks for the quick reply!

I didn't use any. I have a pic,of the inside of my boot on my build thread if you're interested. I didn't use the Velcro since I had a Hyperfirm but I may to add it after my new blaster from DVH comes in.

I have an HFx hyperfirm as well. Doing the velcro loop as a precaution (because I don't know what to expect) or preemptive prep for a different blaster in the future (don't want to take it apart and redo it).

Youll be fine like that, the rivets hold well against the plastic. I added magnets to mine I will make sure and post pics in my build thread.

I actually sewed two strips of velcro down the vinyl behind the holster to stick to the leg of the flight suit. I had a strap initially, but cracked the corners of my first holster by having too much tension with the strap pulling the edges against my leg.

Done!

I did the same, except no velcro to hold it up. I'm not planning on walking around with my blaster in my holster anyways, unless it's for a picture, and I don't want to hold my blaster. I'd prefer to walk around with it in my hand, to be safe.

I have a pretty heavy blaster. With magnets, some packing foam in the holster, and the velcro on flightsuit, I barely notice it anymore. I walk around all the time with it in the holster, even ride my motorcycle in armor.

Yeah, screw covers. I used them on my belt and knees as well. c42f071c7b1e8d1dbbd5401cde1ce51d.jpg4c88e7212d103abdaf52e51dcdac2720.jpg

Rivet should be metal, not white if you see it from the outside

Yes, the CRL was incorrect at the time I did my belt/knees. It has been updated since then and I have corrected the rivet colors after the pictures were taken.
